Slovenia - Techno, Tech House
Uroš Umek is a Slovenian DJ and music producer; his nickname is Fotr (father).
He started organizing techno parties in his hometown in 1993; his work contributed significantly to the popularity of this style of music in Slovenia. Today he is also internationally successful. In 2007 he was ranked 29th among the top 100 international DJs by DJ Magazine. Umek was known for his legendary 3-turntable sets. This includes the live set of "I LOVE TECHNO 2001" and "Mayday 2002".
