Neelix has achieved a level of performance that few others can match, which explains the extraordinary popularity of his live shows.

The foundations of what is today recognized as the Neelix sound were laid in 2005, when Henrik Twardzik from Hamburg released his second album, No Way To Leave. This album marked a clear shift from self-exploration to innovation—a steep path, as Neelix’s remarkable development over the following years demonstrated. His high-octane, party-driven music quickly made him a crowd favorite at Progressive Trance events worldwide. All of his albums on SpinTwist Records sold out rapidly, and soon his talent also attracted attention from other electronic music scenes.

The man with the iconic glasses continues to push the limits—whether within a single track, a live set, or throughout his career as a musician. By 2014, he had performed at major parties and festivals on all five continents, including Boom, Universo Paralello, and Tomorrowland. Neelix’s music can be found in the CD bags of countless DJs, in film productions, and on prestigious labels such as Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto Records.

Despite an intense touring schedule, he continues to produce fresh tracks, with a series of new EPs announced on his long-time label SpinTwist. The character of Neelix is perfectly reflected in his sound: just when you think you’ve reached the climax… there’s always more to come!
