$oho Bani made a name for himself as an underground rapper, collaborating with heavyweights like Fruchtmax & Hugo Nameless, Chapo102, Jaynbeats, and Kasimir1441. In 2018, he teamed up with Hugo Nameless to drop the joint mixtape “Nase voll, Taschen leer”, which firmly put him on the map of the German rap scene.
In 2021, he released the first part of his album “$oho und nicht anders”, with the second part following just a few months later in August. The album reached #28 on the German charts. A year later, he hit #49 on the singles chart with BHZ member Longus Mongus and their track “Inzidance” – his highest chart position at the time. But he didn’t stop there: in August 2023, he broke into the Top 5 of the German singles chart as a featured artist on Ski Aggu’s hit “Theater”, making a powerful statement.
In 2024, $oho Bani returned with the track “Zeit, dass sich was dreht” – a modern reinterpretation of Herbert Grönemeyer’s iconic anthem for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. A contemporary revival with fresh energy and undeniable impact.
