Kygo (civil name Kyrre Gorvell-Dahll) is a Norwegian DJ and music producer from Bergen. 

Kygo has studied piano since he was 6 years old. At the age of 19, Kygo began producing electronic music.

In the meantime he received remix commissions from Ed Sheeran (I see Fire) or Coldplay (Midnight). Kygo is considered an undiscovered jewel. He became famous for his Tropical House style. 

"Firestone" is a collaboration with Australian singer Conrad Sewell, which got released in December 2014 and immediately rose to number 1 in Kygo's home country Norway. Single number 2 "Stole The Show" followed in summer 2015. Kygo's Follow Up Hit was created in collaboration with singer Parson James, a newcomer from Brooklyn.
