At his first Show at Electric Love Festival, Garrix came with his mom - this year he may already come without. In 2015 he caused a stir when he parted ways with Spinnin - THE EDM label. It did him good and brought him a better standing. With In The Name Of Love, Garrix released a classic radio hit for the first time.

In 2013 he had his international breakthrough with Animals. His collaborations with Jay Hardway (Wizard) and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (Tremor) were also successful.
