Since then, he has carved out a niche for himself. He started producing at the age of 17. 17 years old and was signed two years later for his debut album. Born and raised in Rotterdam, it’s fair to say that Holland’s number one rave city had a huge influence on the young producer. The oldschool 90s gabber and primary hardcore influenced him early on in his career and

He reshapes and reinterprets the past into something hyper-modern, individualistic and raw, which he calls “neorave” or “old school hard techno”. DJing on the main stages of major festivals and clubs around the world, neo-rave and gabber continue to be two of his main ingredients. DYEN likes to mix them with old hardcore and industrial records to tease the audience and get them into it. Starting from a “mellower” 140 bpm start, he pushes himself and the audience further. himself and the audience by focusing on creating a more pure, exposed and and explosive energy. Something he also makes his trademark is his “DYEN Edits”; sharpening his personal treasures and gems by updating and modernizing them with his unique take on the tracks and turning them into fresh sounding stomping weapons.
