SOFI TUKKER is a GRAMMY-nominated electronic duo made up of best friends Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern. After meeting at Brown University, they formed a band instead of following their original solo paths—Sophie back to Brazil, Tucker into DJing. Their debut single “Drinkee” and album Treehouse were both GRAMMY-nominated, launching a career rooted in global, joyful dance music with deep Brazilian influences. Off-stage, they’re deeply involved in causes from climate action to mental health, and sit on the board of FEMME HOUSE. In 2025, they relaunched Animal Talk—originally a party and label—as a management company with Myles Shear, Mike Hoerner, and Bella Tamis, supporting boundary-pushing artists who make people dance.
