22-years-old Salzburg native producer, DJ, and songwriter Toby Romeo has captured the attention of dance music fans all over the world. Quickly becoming one of the most promising young dance acts in the world, he continues to evolve his own signature sound. Each release in his discography reflects a deep passion for his craft and unparalleled skillset. After growing up in the city of Mozart, Toby had the urge to start producing music at the age of only 12 years. Participating in the famous Electric Love Festival’s Remixing Contest, he got booked for the big league festivals’ Mainstage at 15 even though he did not surpass the initial age restriction. With his light-weighted and energetic sound, Toby has secured his place in the EDM sphere. In a short space of time, he has released multiple songs and remixes for the industry’s biggest brands like Hook N Sling/Galantis, Alok, Alan Walker, Joel Corry, David Guetta, Kungs, Felix Jaehn and Nicky Romero resulting in 100 million streams provided by 3,5 million listeners in 92 countries in the last 1,5 years – only on Spotify. Toby’s first release after the beginning of his promising major deal with Virgin Records/ Universal went straight through the roof: “Where The Lights Are Low” together with Felix Jaehn and Faulhaber has reached a golden record and more than 120 million streams by now. Also his song “Hopeless Heart” with Keanu Silva and SACHA, released in January, has impressive streaming numbers of more than 25 million. In summer 2022, Toby and singer Leony conquered not only the online world, but also the radio. Their collaboration “Crazy Love” provides musical rays of sunshine and has established itself as a real catchy tune that rightly achieved number 2 in the German airplay charts. His latest release “WOW”, another collaboration with Keanu Silva as well as the newcomers IZKO and ASDÍS, cracked the 2.5 million streams after less than three weeks and continues the impressive series of the super talent from Salzburg. As Toby Romeo carves his own path in the dance music space, his infectious pop/dance sound prepares the young producer for a sharp trajectory in the years to come.
