Initially cutting his teeth as a Hardstyle/Rawstyle producer and DJ, Lumex quickly made a name for himself with his hard-hitting beats. His dedication to the craft and his ability to engage audiences saw him rising rapidly through the ranks of the Hard Dance scene. However, it was in 2022 that Lumex felt a shift in his musical direction and found his passion for Uptempo.

Louder, harder and boundary-breaking, Imperial is here to stay. With his explosive trademark sound loaded with blasting kicks and his through-the-roof energy, this guy has been smashing stages in the scene since 2019. While his journey started a long while before that. Being a true gabber in his heart he’s been visiting parties since Defqon.1 2013. And has been a front row Tidjan Kamara, better known as Imperial, created a unique act that has proven to energize thousands of people. At the most impactful events in the scene, such as Defqon.1 and Decibel outdoor, he showcased his immense skills.

He’s an absolute pioneer in the scene, using is own voice for the vocals in his tracks. Singing as well as hip-hop style rap are both within his skillset. After releasing dance floor smashers like Papi, ALPHA together with N-Vitral, this guy has released his debut album on Scantraxx. Imperial officially joined the leading label in July 2021, being their first and only hardcore artist. He is more than ready to be back on stage, packed with new music and outstanding performances.
